What will you do in this role?

Trumid is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer who is enthusiastic about creating and developing cloud applications in GCP and AWS with open-source frameworks. You must be passionate about creating the best infrastructure, platform, and industry solutions.

  • Offer support for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) environments.
  • Provide support to various teams, including Data/AI/ML, DevOps, developers, and business users.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code.
  • Manage user access through policy enforcement and best practices.
  • Ensure cross-cloud and 3rd party connectivity.
  • Implement security best practices.
  • Manage internal and external TLS/SSL certificates.
  • Enhance monitoring and observability.
  • Simultaneously manage existing infrastructure while shaping the future.
  • Design, create, develop, and maintain operational procedures for onboarding and managing cloud environments to meet defined SLAs.
  • Manage multiple projects while collaborating with diverse teams across the organization.
  • Provide support for internal tools and applications, including Datadog, Falcon LogScale (Humio), HAProxy, Veeam, Wordpress, and SSO.
  • Assist in client FIX connectivity.
  • Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and failover testing.

Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 5 years of experience with AWS and GCP (Azure experience is a plus).
  • 5 years of Linux administration experience.
  • 2 years of Kubernetes experience.
  • 2 years of Terraform experience.
  • Familiarity with DevOps toolchain, including GitHub, Jenkins, Helm, Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible, and Nexus.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.
  • A proven track record of creative problem-solving.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

In compliance with New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in New York City is between $125,000 - $200,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation.
