What will you do in this role?

Trumid is looking for high-touch, critical thinkers for in-person sales roles at our electronic trading platform. Our sales team is focused on growing adoption of our technology and protocols, and we are looking for people to work directly with our existing and prospective clients. You will be expected to provide relentless customer service to our client base. You will be charged with demoing our platform, educating on new releases and features, setting-up workflows and training our clients to use our cutting-edge technology. We are passionate about our client experience; we pride ourselves on our ability to actively listen to our clients’ needs and work with them to consistently improve our products and offerings. In this role:

  • You’ll interface directly with our clients. This role is client facing and you will be expected to cultivate and enhance existing and prospective client relationships by being present with clients in their offices (including domestic travel), over zoom and with others on our sales team. You’ll network with clients after work – at events, dinners, and other industry related gatherings. Providing exceptional client service is your top priority.
  • You’ll become a product expert. You’ll provide in-depth education, training, and assistance on all aspects of our electronic trading platform. You will be the SME on all current and new product features.

Skills & Qualifications

  • B.A. in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other markets driven discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in client facing role, strongly preferred trading, exchange, financial services exposure
  • Desire to expand knowledge of financial markets and fixed income products
  • Tech aptitude, business acumen and decision making; curiosity and willingness to learn how the business functions strategically
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; relentlessness, incredible follow-up skills and ability to navigate and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team – someone who is collaborative, committed, flexible and reliable with a strong "can do” attitude
  • Must be willing to travel domestically for in-person client meetings and events; and be available to join and host after-working-hours client entertainment

In compliance with New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in New York City is between $75,000- $125,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation.
