What will you do in this role?

We are looking for a Product Analyst (PA) to join the Trumid Product Team.  Are you a detail-oriented analyst who loves to find innovative technology solutions for both internal and external clients? Are you excited about being an integral part of the development process where “you move fast and don’t break things?” If so, as a Product Analyst you will work closely with a team of product analysts to gather business and user requirements for new and enhanced platform functionality. You will help define functional specs and assist in ensuring that business requirements are met by providing test cases early in the development process. You will also participate in user acceptance testing at the end of our development cycle to move new functionality into production.

  • Extract granular level details from end users and stakeholders to determine functionality objectives and evaluate business and user requirements; high degree of interpersonal skills with team first mentality
  • Ability to interface cross functionally across teams of tech, legal, client and product with high level of awareness to bring “empathy for the user” to the forefront of the conversation ensuring roadblocks and obstacles are tackled with team first approach
  • Improve system processes and efficiencies by implementing current best practices and collaborating around design modifications; be a change agent for projects with a focus on roadmap and planning
  • Ability to see the impact of the bigger picture to drive and socialize evolution of new functionality or components with other PAs and developers to help ensure completeness of specifications; ability to quickly “connect the dots” around product development and technical operations
  • Collaborate with the PA team to define and execute against appropriate development timelines and have discipline to adhere to delivery schedule for platform enhancements
  • Evaluate project milestone by tracking activity and helping to resolve problems using advanced BI tools

 Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Product/Business Analyst or similar role at an exchange, bank or working directly with an OMS
  • Degree in a computer science field or other relevant field preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in an ever changing and fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with or interest in financial markets; experience with fixed income products is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven and self-starter with a track record of success working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to be highly collaborative through proactive communication within cross functional teams

In compliance with New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in New York City is between $85,000 - $125,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation.
